Vipers would like to congratulate to Brooke James and Clinton Burke from our VT Touch Women’s and Men’s teams as well as Sam Cranage from our Men’s Basketball team who have recently had some very exciting news come their way.

Brooke recently became engaged to Sam after many years of courtship and will look to tie the knot in the off season of the Touch and Basketball competitions as not to disrupt their teams.

Clinton and his lovely wife Monique recently welcomed their first child little Eli Jack into the world. Eli will be a welcome addition to the Vipers clan in the coming years and potentially live out the dreams of his old man.

Congratulations to both couples on behalf of Vipers.

Vipers VT Mixed team will feature this Sunday 20th November at the annual Wine Rules event which is hosted at Elwood Park. Vipers has historically supported many charity events and social events through our members and none are more needing then the Wine Rules event. So come along to enjoy fine wine, great food and some music on what will sure to be a fantastic day.

Wine Rule’s is the major fundraising event for St Mary’s House of Welcome’s. St Mary’s is a drop-in day centre which assists Melbourne’s homeless population through providing quality meals, recreational activities and a strong sense of community.

Wine Rules is the Victorian cousin of the successfully established festival Touch Wine held annually in Adelaide by Hutt Street Centre. The initial concept for Touch Wine and Wine Rules was inspired by UK wine writer and internationally renowned wine judge, Mathew Jukes.
