2 weeks until nominations CLOSE! Join the Alliance!

Rest of Australia – Announcement of The Alliance
Touch Football Australia (TFA) is launching today the expression of interest (EOI) process for a proposed “Challenge Series” v NSWTA within the NTL in 2010 as well as the Rest of Australia Permit which will be known as ‘The Alliance’.

Some of you may be aware there have been issues associated with the State of Origin and hence TFA have agreed that in the best interests of achieving the goals recommended by the National Events Commission and accepted by the TFA Board of Management that TFA will look at the establishment of this opportunity for 2010. Please read the attached memo which outlines specific information relating to the EOI process.

TFA must conclude this process by the end of the month in order to make an informed decision on the progression of the initiative in the advertised divisions.

TFA ask that this information is given the widest possible dissemination within all States to ensure all parties interested are aware of the opportunity. There has already beeninterest from potential marquee players and look forward to adding to the Alliance lists over the coming weeks.

Details associated with costs, process, format etc will be forwarded at the conclusion of the EOI process. There will also be coordinated activity requirements within each office to which we will discuss in the near future to ensure the streamlined delivery of this initiative. Details can also be found at the Vic touch and TFA websites.
