Vipers Sports Club are in the early planning stages of our 2010 International tour to the European Champs and USA Portland Touch Tournament.
The club will look to compete in the European Champs and a Tournament in Portland Oregan which are to be held in July 2010 as well as conduct some coaching and social matches along the way in stop over cities.
Now is the time to show your interest as Nominations are about to close on 30th November. So you have approximately 7 days to make your final decision as this has been advertised for over 6months. Confirmed interest is required by Friday 27th November.
Singapore and Hawaii will most likely get to experience the Vipers players during the scheduled stop overs.
The Tour
The tour will likely consist of a stop over in Singapore to play some games and conduct some coaching clinics for the locals and sightseeing before the journey to Europe and the European Champs at this stage to be held in Bristol in the UK during July. On completion of the European Champs the players and supporters will travel around taking in the sites of some of Europe’s most famous cities – Paris, Berlin, Rome, Prague and Amsterdam as well as maybe even trying to catch some of the action on a little know bike race called the ”Tour De France” which is staged each year in July.
The teams will then head to the US and the awaiting Portland Touch Tournament which will coincide with this tour and be staged at the end of July. At the completion of this tournament the team will have plenty of options as to which cities to visit – New York, LA, Las Vegas or Washington before a possible stop over in beautiful Hawaii for some much required R&R before the tour comes to an end and the eventual tour conclusion.
Vipers will be conducting coaching clinics where possible while on tour so if you are a coach and would like to tour then contact Vipers.

Their are plans in place for fundraising for this tour including Comedy nights, Lawn Bowl parties, raffles and more. Although players are advised costs will largely depend on the duration of your tour and experiences you wish to encounter. We advise fro budgetting purposes to allow for a minimum of $5,000 to complete both legs of the tour excluding spending money.
